Treasures in Heaven
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

How I might have a poor and simple life is that I don’t have a job so I have no money. My house isn’t that big. I wish my dad had a Lamborghini. I wish I had a bigger back garden. I wish I had swings, a swimming pool and a football pitch with goals. All these would be treasures on earth but these things can get stolen or vandalised.
Instead of watching tv or playing games I could help the elderly. I could be a good friend when my friends are sad. I could say sorry when I have upset someone. I could forgive my friend When they have upset me. I could give money to charity instead of buying something that I want. I could try do nice things every day. God wants us to do good things that help others and this would make me a better person.
It’s about trying not to focus on expensive things for myself and it’s about being a good person ready for when I get to heaven. Jesus wore cloth, had scruffy hair and didn’t have much but he did lots of good things so he went to heaven.

I would lead a poor and simple life by enjoying the little things: walking in the park, watching the sun set and listening to nature's song. I wound not be bothered about owning too many material things because you can't take them with you to heaven. The treasures I could store for heaven would be things like the memories of my friends and family. I cannot take possessions with me to heaven. Therefore, I will take my friends and family with me to heaven. I would have to change so that I didn't have so many possessions with me and my priorities would be to look after my friends and family. The impact this would have would be that I would feel much better about myself.

A simple life is a happy life
To live a simple life I would have to get rid of all my technology and toys and many of my clothes however, I don't feel that this would have a negative impact on my life, quite the opposite, it surely has to be positive!?!
I live in a simple house with no technology or toys, all around me there are bare walls with only a small fire in the corner to keep warm and heat the water. The house looks empty with nothing to steal, nothing to take from me or anything worth any value to others, however this is not the case. I may have nothing here that is of any value to others but i am surrounded by people who love me and together we have fun and make happy memories, these memories are my treasures and they are kept hidden in my mind and remembered forever. They are my jewels and hidden riches that I will take to heaven, nobody can take my treasures from me!

How I would live a poor and simple life
I would have lots of plants in the house to help the planet, less things in the house to make it calm and not overwhelming. I would also walk more often to not use petrol and make climate change. I will read more books and watch nature instead of staring at a screen to have a chance to thank for what God gifted us. Stop fights and prevent them by having no enemies this will make the world a better and a more peaceful place. Be kind to everyone and put up quotes around the house to give a nice touch like ‘kindness is free so spread it everywhere.’ Rescue an animal at a shelter to give it a second life to fulfill. Give to the homeless and make their day to show generosity. Save the turtles, fish, sharks and more by using metal straws and reusing plastic bags this will help the environment. Help an elderly or blind person cross the road safely. Help people in everyday life like helping someone with shopping, help pick up things that people have dropped and more, this will make the world a better place.

To occasionally live a simple life I enjoy going camping with my family and friends. I like to get away from technology and look around the wonderful countryside. It feels good to move away from our material possessions for a while and focus more on spending time with my family. Exercise in the fresh air makes me feel happy and the beautiful surroundings fill my heart with joy!
If I permanently lived in a tent and gave all my stuff away to charity I would probably miss the warmth, food and comfort of my home. I would follow in Jesus' footsteps by helping people. I could show them how to grow their own food and look after the enviroment. These people, my family and nature would all be my treasures; worth more than a million pounds. Nobody can ever take these kinds of treasures from me. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

A simple life
I live a simple life with no money but it is not as bad as you think.
I treasure life and I don't want to have money for it might get stolen or vandalised and I like the simple life I have. I wouldn't change anything about it.
I like simple walks in the park.
I like simple people.
I like simple living.
I am simple.
You may not like my life but this is where my treasure is, where my heart will be also.

If I was to live in a poor and simple life I would have to get rid of all the technology and do something else. I would have no job so I will have not much money . Instead of going on phones and games I could go out for walks with my family and be a nice person to my friends. I would have no car so I would have to walk everywhere I go. There would not be much heat in the house so I would have to create a small fire with wood. I could spend more time with my family and create happy memories.

I love to go on simple walks by my self.
I love simple foods.
I like simple people.

Although we may be poor in wealth we are not as poor as the poor in soul because when we go to heaven we will be welcomed by God and if we only live a simple life it will be a happy one as for those who don't might have a sad wasted life.

To some people treasure is technology and devices but that type of treasure people can steal from you. Real treasure is happy memories with your family and friends. No one can steal real treasure.
You find that the poorer people are more connected with their family. If I lived a poor and simple life, I wouldn’t have a TV or phone and if I got bored I would probably go with my friends to the park, do some art or even play with my sister. So really if I was poor I actually would be happier because I would have a better relationship with my family.
The things that we own distract us from what’s really important in life.

To live a poor and simple life like Jesus I would have to lose material goods like my computer and xbox and instead play outside and go fishing. I would also try to be unwasteful and eco friendly to help the world we live in. I need to value things like friends, family, sunny days and walking a lot more for they can be taken to heaven “where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.”
The changes I would have to make in my life are spending more time with friends and family. I would visit those who are lonely and isolated like the elderly. I believe that giving up my time for them would be more valuable than a gift bought with money that cannot be taken to heaven. When I think back to times with those I love, I do not value the material goods of which I was gifted but the treasure the memories such times brought.

If I led a poor and simple life I would not be greedy and try my best to give away money as we do not need treasures on earth. I would give food and clothes away and only have what I need.
I would not have an X-Box or an I-pad and would spend lots of time visiting lonely people. I would help by walking elderly people's dogs and work at vets, charities , food banks and the RNLI for free. I would help animals by fostering mistreated dogs and cats.
Lonely people would feel happier, amazing and special. Animals would feel excited to have more food, love and to be able to play. I would feel kind, helpful and proud.

To have a simple life and a poor life I would have to get rid of all of my technology and everything else with it. But it won't have a major impact on my life. Well, it would be the opposite. I would still be happy even though I would be in a small, simple house with nothing but a loaf of bread and a glass of water. My house has nothing in it so no one can steal from me. I may have nothing worth anything to others but I do have friends and family and we make happy memories together. Those memories are my real treasures and I will keep them in my mind forever and ever. These are my riches and I will take them with me everywhere I go.

I would live a poor and simple life by living with simple pleasures; walking, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the things that God has given us. I would only buy the furniture and food I need. I would not only think of myself but I would think of others and all nature, I will always help were I can. Also I appreciate what people do for me and respect nature and living things.
I would make an effort to help, care and listen to others and help as much as I can. I would make sure people feel loved, cared for and know that I am there for them. I also would care for animals, I would never hurt them and always do the best for them.
My treasures are the people I love and care for,- family and friends- they are the people who will go to heaven with me and all the animals that need help and need cared for. Being a student at St Gregory's is amazing, I have made great friends there and I care for all the teachers who have helped me for years and are now helping me to get ready for SATS. They will never leave me and I will never forget what they have done for me.

If I had to live a poor and simple life, I wouldn't have things like phones, laptops and a tv. I may also struggle sometimes to be able to eat or have clean water to drink. I may not have many clothes or shoes to wear and they might not even fit me. If we were really poor I may not have somewhere safe and warm to sleep. I would pray to Jesus that my family and I were always safe with a roof over our heads and food on our plates.
The impact this would have is not being able to keep in touch with my friends as easily, I wouldn't be able to watch my favourite television programs, I wouldn't be able to do any online homework on this blog or Mathletics. I would sometimes go hungry and I wouldn't have enough strength in my body to go on during the day. My clothes and shoes maybe too small and not always clean. I might not always feel safe in my home.
I believe that I am very lucky with the friends and family that I have. Making memories and keeping my family and friends safe whilst I am on earth is the biggest treasure I can have. One that I can take to heaven with me.

If I had to live a poor an simple live.I would want a job to earn money a bigger house lots of toys and swings in my back garden and front because that’s all treasure. But it can get stolen because everyone can’t have what they want.Instead of going on phones and stuff I could help old or young people to earn money and have all of them stuff.

A simple life is an easy life.
I would live a poor life with no technology or phones. I would have small home with only candles for light and warmth. I would wish my mum had a Porsche. I would also travel by walking. I would be happy and wouldn't have a negative impact on anything. I wouldn't have any riches accept my family.

I would life a simple yet enjoyable life meaning not having many things and not using any technology so my mind won't get filled with the worlds problems and only mind about mine. I would go and live a pure life by : walking around and seeing gods wonderful creations, sitting on a bench and watching the world go by. But the one thing i would keep forever is those little memories which make my day. Those funny , sad , amazing memories that will never go away. Anyway i couldn't take anything because its heaven and heaven is a place to be free a reward for the good and i wouldn't need to take anything but those lovely memories.

For me to live a simple and pure life one of the first things i could do is get rid of all of my electronics because a lot of time can be wasted on watching silly useless videos on how people open boxes of expensive shoes. To follow Jesus and live a better life I could think about people around me and less about myself. I could spend my life being in the wild and adoring what god made for us and finding ways to stop deforestation and polluting the atmosphere, also I could help people less fortunate to get a better life and do good deeds.

To live a simple life I would have to give up: my technology, that means no gadgets or wifi , my pets, no dogs or cats or any animals, my house that means I’d be homeless , my parents cars that means walking to school, live on only water and bread, no chicken no meat and barely have any clothes, not even a fancy thing no shoes no dresses or suits.

To live a simple life , all i would have to do is be around my family and friends. The little thing in life can make a really big impact if you think carefully. A simple life wouldn't involve phones, ipads , playstations , xboxs and computers , it would focus more on walking around a park on a sunny day, admiring the nature around me. The treasures i would store, if i went to another place for example heaven, i would store my familys memories for example when we went away on the weekends and then going out for tea and always laughing every second.
i could help the environment by not riding my bike because it causes a lot of pollution and smoke from my bike.

A simple life is a happy life
How I might have a poor and simple life is that I don’t have a job or I don’t do chores around my house . My house is not very big well its big enough for five. I wish I had an I phone eleven or a limo. I wish I have a mansion, a pool and a bigger garden too. All of these things would wonderful to have but they could get stolen or vandalised.
Instead of playing games on my pc and watching tv, I could help the old people and if I be mean to my friends I would say sorry to them. If they be mean to me then they could say sorry to me then we would be all friends. instead of me using my money on sweets I could give charity some of it even all of it. I could try to do good things every day. God wants us to do good things that help others and this would make me a better person.
This is about focusing on good things not expensive things and being a helpful and better person.

I might be poor and have a normal life and no house and no money and no parents. I wish I had a my parent back and have a house. And I wish I had a car to go to school .then go high school then college and get a degree. Then a job to help pay rent they would be my treasure.
I would try to put some of my spar money to poor people or charity and my job would be a teacher to help children to understand learning. Or I would be a fundraiser for charity they are my treasure.
Then my treasure would be to get a big house with a humongous pool, waterslide for kids to play on and a normal simple life they are all my treasures.
