WAGOLL

Wow what an amazing day Friday the 29th September was. It was one of my favourite days so far in year 6. The whole school were allowed to work outside all day because it was FSC day. Some of the activities that we took part in were: pond dipping; making our own mini-beasts; bug hunting; tree measuring and leaf painting. My favourite part of the day was pond dipping because I really enjoyed using the nets. We worked in partners and with a net, took a big swirl of the water and plopped the contents of the water into a tray, so that we could see if we had found any unusual bugs. James and I worked well together and had lots of fun, even catching a couple of midge flies, a Ramshorn snail, midge worm larvae and some pond skaters. I really loved this year’s FSC day! I thought that the tree measuring was also quite amazing and I also enjoyed the other activities!
