Imagine that you have just won the lottery and can buy your dream house.
Write a detailed description of your ideal home, using prepositions of place, to give to an interior designer. You can either limit this to one or two rooms, or design an entire house. You must use at least ten prepositions of place.
At a later date, you will be asked to read a classmate’s blog and carefully draw their house design.

My dream house would be a two bedroom bungalow in between the countryside and a woodland area. The roof would overlay and have a cobble line around it.
The front room would have a spruce door that joined it to the kitchen, which would have a television over the cupboards.
In the first bedroom would have a skylight in the roof and a bed directly under it. On the outside, there would be a pool with a post at either side.
There would also be a conservatory with triple glazing windows before the back yard.
In the second bedroom, there would be a television in between the wardrobe and drawers, with the bed facing the opposite way.
In the front lawn, a flower bed would surround the interior of the house.
My dream house would be…
A four-roomed medium-sized bungalow made of white bricks with a black slate roof. In one room I would have a 70″ smart TV. Below that, I would have a black shelf to hold all my CD’s and DVD’s. To the right of that, I will have a huge armchair to sit in and read. Three feet away from that, I would have a black sofa on top of a white fur rug. Directly next to this, there is another identical sofa with a tall white table with a black lamp on it. At the back of the room, there will be a black wooden table with a white jug of roses in the middle of it. Around the table, there will be six white chairs with white sheep wool seats and black beads glued around the edges. There will be two glass doors leading out to a garden with a flower bed and a swing.

My dream house would have a huge south-facing garden, beside an astro-turf football pitch. Inside the ground floor of the house there would be two 90 inch plasma TV,s either side of the lounge – one for xbox and the other for watching tv. Opposite the kitchen, a giant fish tank would run along the hall. I would have a multi-gym, complete with cross trainers, weights, treadmills and lots more. Through the automatic doors that can only be accessed by fingerprint, there would be a giant swimming pool. Across from the swimming pool would be a steam room, a sauna and a jacuzzi.
Going up to the first floor there would be a massive master suite for me with gaming consoles, football tables huge TV’s and arcade games behind glass doors. Around the corner, would be my kingsize bed. Down the hall would be a secret shoot that I could slide down which goes under the house and into the basement. Within here, would be my collection of super cars. A car lift would start beneath the house up to the garage on the ground floor, where an automatic gate would be activated by my voice.

My dream house would be a mansion on the edge of a small wood. There would be 5 bedrooms, a computer suite and a state of the art kitchen.
In every bedroom, a TV would sit on top of a chest of drawers. A queen bed with an en suite. There would be a balcony over looking the wood in the master bedroom.
Every en suite would have a marble floor and a small cubicle with a shower inside it. A cupboard would be under the sink containing spare toiletries.
Outside would be a medium private pool. A small roof made out of plastic would be held up by two poles. To the side would be a table standing on top of four exquisite glass stands with a beach chair.
The living room would have plenty of cupboards and space to put Lego sets and jigsaw puzzles. A giant screen with several channels would go right across one wall. A fire would be attached to a side wall blazing brightly in Winter.
The kitchen would have a large counter for staff to prepare food on. On top would be an automatic cooker. A door would connect facing away from the wood incase the smoke alarm would go off.
A small dance and recording studio would be in the basement for all performance needs. This would be underneath the living room. The stairs would have a red carpet on and be inside a large booth.
Outside would look elegant and grand. Sparkling windows and a staircase made of marble leading from the master bedroom to the wood for seeing wildlife.

My dream house would be
a cottage in deep countryside where vegetables, fruit and plants would grow surrounding my two bedroom house. The spruce wood door would open up to a lovely wooden table by a warm flickering fire , alongside a spiral set of stairs which
would lead up to a homely lounge area with a cosy, comforting sofa and armchair with another lovely warm fire beside the television . At the end of the room is a door that opens into a small hallway which has two doors these enter into the bedrooms the first bedroom is a balcony bedroom where you can overlook the beautiful country side , the fruit, vegetable and plant growing area with a nice quiet farm in the background. Across from a luxurious vintage bed is a master size wardrobe with a dressing table next to it .In the other bedroom there is a television across from two single beds which ac be made into a double .
Downstairs next to the dining room is a lovely old fashioned kitchen with nice shelves , cupboards and furniture at the end of the room there are patio doors to a lovely garden

My Dream House
In the bed room I would have a computer or a laptop sitting on a white desk along side a small bin. I would have a large bed across the room between my two minor lamps.
In my kitchen, I would have lots of chocolate-brown chairs behind a boney table. I would have star-shaped-lights around the kitchen and living room. I would also like some delighting pictures or paintings.
In my living room I would have a delicate sofa across a monolithic television to watch my favourite shows. A sonant, white and clean carpet will also be in the living room.

If I could have a dream house it would either be a mansion or a three story house.
the front room would have a gigantic projector screen for the ultimate cinematic experience with twinkling LED lights all around the ceiling. By the projector screen there with be books in a built in bookshelf on both sides. For the seating there with be a massive sofa and beanbags on the floor.
The kitchen will be a room that's connected to the dinning area. The kitchen will have a modern look with a sparkling chandelier hanging gracefully up above. There will be halogen cook top with a spotless oven underneath. There will be a pantry and a built in American styled fridge freezer.
In the bathroom there will be an automatic toilet that lifts the lid up and flushes it. There will be an elegant glistening sink with with silver doors to the cupboard underneath. There will also be a modern day bathtub and shower that is voice activated.
In the bedroom there will be a kind sized bed with personalized bed cover and the pillows will have crowns on them. The will also be a seventy five feet long tv on the wall of the room. There will be pink and white walls with my name written on. There will also be a tent with beanbags in side and books to read. Also in this bedroom will be a shimmering white desk to do homework from Mrs.Beesley. :)

My dream house would be a mansion with 2 floors inside one floor is 2 bedrooms with a 50 inch tv, a king size bed and en-suite bathroom on both. In the games room on floor 2 is a dart board, another 50 inch tv , a snooker table, a ps4 and a computer.
Underneath floor one is a kitchen, bathroom, backyard and a gym. In the gym there is a treadmill and across from the treadmill is the weights. Near the weights is a cross trainer. Through the hall way and around the corner is the kitchen. In the kitchen there is 2 fridges, 2 ovens, 2 microwaves and 10 cupboards.
Across from the hallway is the backyard. Around the backyard is a 5 aside football pitch, a basket ball court, swimming pool, hot tub and a pond.

My dream house would have a giant bunk bed and under it would be a gaming PC and then the kitchen would be filled with lots of ingredients for me to use as a great cook. There would also be a big 100 inch plasma flat screen TV and behind it would be a relaxing area.
It would be a cliff hanging house and it would have 300 acres of land. I would have a Lambourghini Aventador Coupe and inside there would computers on the back of the drivers and passanger's seats.
Under the house would be an underground lair where I would store all of my things and make inventions. On top of the house would be a veiwpoint and there would be a telescope that would be able to see Jupiter's moons. In front of the house there would be a swimming pool and in it would be a party setting that enabled the pool to light up, explode with confetti and let the floats loose.
There would even be a place for all of my family to play hide and seek and you would be able to to hide anywhere around the house. The room with the 100 inch plasma TV would be in between the hall way and the bedroom.
If you go through the Library, you will come to a secret passageway where you will find my precious possessions in a chest.

My dream house would be a small bungalow beside a lake. I would have some very nice neighbours and between our houses will be the lake. Round the corner there would be a village shop to get all my food and water. Behind the house will be a very nice garden will lots of flowers, and of course a football net. Under the house will be a under ground cabin. Bieng iscolated if a pandemic or an apocilipse would happen. Plus it would have an unlimted supply of cake. There will be a bridge going across the lake. It will be very concerning for floods so i will have a move able fence if it does happen to fight and block the water. along the bridge will be floaties so u can chuck one in if someone falls in. throughout my house there will be lots of blankets to keep you warm.

My dream home
Inside the house there must be a pool, a self-serve bar and eight bedrooms over six floors.
There should be an elevator going throughout the house. It must be a modern house next to a large garden outside.
Within the house there should be spacious rooms and towards the rear of the the house should be specific living quarters for pets.
In addition to a luxury kitchen, there should be a games room below in the cellar, which has the swimming pool, between the games room and the basketball court.
Inside of the games room should house a Xbox series x console beside the PS4, PS5 plus a Nintendo switch.
Near the sports room I would like a big fancy garage that contains a motorbike, in front of a Ferrari, next to a Tesla and a Porsche.
In the house there should be a marble spiral staircase which goes around the centre of the house.

if I could buy my dream house the living room would be massive with windows the size as doors and the floor would be stone marble with a huge amount of open space. the kitchen would have layer upon layer of smooth white chairs and shelves. in my room I would have a similar sized room as the kitchen with a nice fluffy carpet spread across the floor with the wallpaper champagne white and a desk with all the little things I have. eg my PS4 controllers. I would also have a massive tv on the wall and l e d lights behind it.

My house would be a mansion in the country side.
I would have a garage outside my house with a garden behind it.
I would have a huge basement below the house that I would make all nice and cosy.
Outside the front door I would have a vegetable patch with all my favourite fruit and veg.
Above the first floor would be a second floor with oak floor boards and a king sized bed room.
Throughout the layout of the house would be lots of positive posters and decoration. That is my dream house.
